Job Description PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST Optical Dynamics Corporation Provide a high degree of creative input toward the development of new products exercising an experienced judgment with regard to cost, reliability, and manufacturability of designs. Develop conceptual 3D CAD models for evaluation and iteration. Finalize designs and develop working drawings for prototypes and test fixtures. Develop detailed drawings for vendors and RFQs specifying materials, fits, tolerances, and "critical to function" features. Seek out and evaluate vendors based on vendor capability and project requirements. Work with vendors from initial contact to completed delivery, covering best practices, estimates and bids, document control, quality control, and delivery scheduling.
